Bekki Fahrer begins our news series, Into the Wilderness, as we begin the Lenten season and learn of Jesus' time in the wilderness. In Matthew 4:1-4, the devil tempts Jesus by targeting his appetite. Appetite is a holy and God-given function, but we must be weary of it's twisted, dark side as well.
